 Trust stands on three foundation expectations need and promises. a song in the hymn book tells us to stand on the promises of God.

Daniel 9 : 4

 And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

What is the seed royal promising?...Is the seed royal delivering on his promises?  yes

the seed royal has won souls in the kingdom of God

the seed royal has created a platform for us to service the lord.
the seed royal seek to develop people whose word will match their actions.

What are You Promising The Seed Royal?

To serve the lord in his vineyard

  God's word and his deeds will always match. God does whatever he promises. what has God promised you? i want you to trust him that he will deliver it. if there is no promise that you are standing on, you need to seek the lord's face to receive a revealed word from the lord.

we are the generation of people with new ideas...
note the promises of God have conditions so alway tell yourself, that you will work to fulfulment.

-An hypocrite is an actor. someone who wears a mask. the greek word is hypocratics.

-When you deal with your own personal problems, you are capaable to help someone else.

- We are too eager to lead others. The first person you have to lead is yourself.

- You need to provide leadership for yourself first.

- It's those things that you do that will make people want to know jesus.

- God is looking for those who will practise the word rather than those who will preach it.

LEADERSHIP IS A PROCESS

Leadership is a process. it is not a position. you become a leader by going through a process(something you do over time) whereby you inspire people. The people are inspired to trust the leader and co-operate with him to achieve worthy goals.

Characteristics of leadership
If you are going to fulfill your potentials in life you have to deal with people. people are smart. you have to learn to inspire  and influence people.

Charismatic leadership
example of a charismatic leader was alexander the great. a man of huge ambition who He had great charisma and force of personality, characteristics which made him a great leader.




Character Base Leadership
the perfect example of a character-base leader was Jesus Christ. after over 2,000 years his influence is still felt on the earth.

2000 years after, only  few people remember the charismatic leader Alexander the great. but the name of Jesus is mentioned by  billions of people today. charisma without character is not leadership

you will never be able to lead people who don't trust you.

HOW DO YOU INSPIRE PEOPLE?
If you are good at what you do,you'll inspire people. Competence inspire people. people will trust you for your competence. when people trust you, co-operation is easy. you can't achieve anything if people don't co-operate with you. develop your competence

The quickest way to become a leader is to serve as a leader.

Jesus is the greatest leader in history.

A lot of people go on from institutions to institutions, places to places, nations to nations, to learn and understand leadership. but your leadership is actually within you, it is inside of you.and that is principally because of the way God works. the function of everything, the lord our God puts it in the thing.
for you to understand and find that leadership, one of the critical thing you need to understand is VISION.

So what is Vision?

'' vision is the unfolding of God's master-plan for a man"
"having a clear picture of a preferable future"
"vision is a foresight".

The word vision is predicated on 3 principles, when you talk about vision there are 3 things that comes to mind:

1. Hindsight(LOGOS)
2. The Insight (RHEMA)
3. The Foresight

If you have an understanding of the hindsight which gives you a development of the insight, it would be easy to have an understanding of the foresight. the hindsight talks about the past and that is why people study history. Daniel said: i understood by the books. Daniel 9:2 . that is hindsight. when you study the bible, what you get is an understanding by the books or the letters. it is not just the hindsight, it's what we call the LOGOS. Apostle Paul described it as the letters. he says: the letters killeth but the spirit giveth life. so if i memorize all the books in the bible, all i have taken in is LOGOS. As a minister, you must be have logos(the written word). that logos is meant to give you hindsight. whenever there is a prophecy, you test it with what is written in the logos. Jesus quoted from the logos when he preached in the synagogue from Isaiah 61

THE CONCEPT OF INSIGHT
insight talks about the revelation you get from the logos, it is called RHEMA.so when you study the logos,i.e hindsight at times rhema jumps out to you. If you have the logos, it is not sufficient to give the people the logos because it means death, so as a minister, you need to  spend time with the lord to receive a rhema for the people. they rhema is a revelation coming out of the logos.
if a man has proper logos and spend time with he lord to access rhema, he will have words of knowledge, wisdom, and revelation of the things that are yet to come. the lord would be giving him foresight. as a minister or leader, you'll need this 3 concepts and have an understanding of the bible, but that letter is not sufficient. so what you need to go forward is RHEMA.As ministers of our God you need to move beyond the LOGOS.
That means you are compel to spend time in the presence God. there is a rhema for your life, which has to do with leadership. once you receive a mandate for your life start to run with it. that is why the lord input the function of a thing  in it.  your capabilities is in built in you,when a bird comes out of it's shells it starts to fly. when Messi gets the ball, he does something magical with it. you see, your leadership is within you. your hindsight actually weigh down your ability to be innovative. whatever you don't understand you tend to worship.

INSIGHT FROM SCRIPTURES
there is a different from what you learn, and the rhema you get from scriptures. God is expecting us as ministers to bring a revealed word from scriptures, a fresh word from his throne. faith comes by the revealed word of God. how do you want to be a minister, when you don't have rhema?
like in the life of Abraham, most things the lord reveals to his people in form of rhema and foresight may not be reasonable, it could be unthinkable, that why we can understand why Sarah laughed.
All they people want the rhema, because it is something you can hold unto for hope. as you study the word of God, listen for rhema, eyes that look are many but eyes that can see are few. ears that hear are many but ears that can see hear are few. living by the spirit is the most economic way to live. why would you buy a flight ticket to travel all the way to Lagos just for a meeting that wont hold, when the holy spirit could have foretold you the outcome of events. that is why we need to understand rhema as ministers.
The way you handle your VISION is backed by how you handle , your insight, hindsight and foresight. the hindsight gives you understanding. when the lord promises you a thing, and you have an understanding of it, you can certainly run with it.
what is the lord saying today(rhema). that is the word for the nations. there must be a revelation for today. we must become people of revelation. people that have insights to upcoming events. the word of prophecy is the foresight that the lord gives you and it comes to pass. In understanding your vision, you have the hindsight by books, which gives you an understanding of the insight the rhema and beyond the rhema we have the foresight. what you are seeing.
The eyes that look are many, but the eyes that see are few. pray for the lord to give you a  clear VISION as a minister or leader.  praise the Lord.

In Africa, in Nigeria most especially the term 'leadership' is not unconnected with with poor performance, corruption and self-centered culture breed by greed. That is why God is leading us to train leaders with Godly characters because characters makes trust possible and trust makes leadership possible. this is the law of solid ground. it is sad that anointing can take you to a height where character can not sustain you

The World is in crisis.The government has not done much to protect it's citizens. Europe is still in recession and facing stern austerity measures, as effort is made to get out of recession. there is war in Syria.people are dying from hunger in Congo,Sudan. there is so much violence and corruption round the world.
let's bring it home, here in Nigeria, there is a 69% increase in child abuse, more than 20 million women suffer from domestic violence. 2 in 4 students are bullied in our secondary schools. 50% of marriages in this country end in divorce.
mistrust is at the root of these chaos, people cannot be trusted. business have failed because of lack of Trust. a little boy once wrote the mum a poem saying:


my mum
my mum is loving and caring
she likes to buy lots of clothes
she always likes reading me to sleep
sometimes she keeps her promises
but the best thing about my mum is she is always there for me


from the above poem we can see that sometimes even parents fail to keep their promises. the little boy was once promised to be taken to the cinema to watch a movie, he kept expecting the mum to take him to the cinemas as was promised him by the mum. but she happened to forget and so didn't keep her promise. but the little boy kept it in mind.


WHAT IS TRUST?
you see , trust is so vital in every relationship, even God expects trust from us. God values relationships more than ministries. the foundation of any ministry is trust.
Trust is our own ability to to rely on God, a person, a group, an organization, a product to deliver an outcome. trust is the building block of any relationship. how do you fell when the things you trust do not come out/ well i feel hurt and disappointing. imagine how the little boy must have felt.
if you are sitting down on a chair, it because you trust the chair to support your body weight and keep you stable right?, i guess so. trust is like a plain sheet of paper if you crumpled it you can't get it perfectly straightened again.
whenever there is trust there is peace, but if you bridge trust in one area, you wont be trusted in others.
every relationship is built on trust, there are 3 things that make a relationship. these are:

NEED ----PROMISE---- EXPECTATION N-P-E

A need is to be met. promises are made, and expectation are to be fulfilled. if one is lacking in any of these 3 blocks, then trust is bridged. if trust is abridged in one area, you wont be trusted in others
in your relationships with people, how many times will i disappoint people before the stop trusting... ask yourself that question. are you trustworthy?
promises are not meant to be broken when made, there two kinds of promises : implicit and explicit. implicit is vocal. it is not written. Always let your yea be yea and your nay be nay. explicit on the other hand is written. we should always keep our promises as these form our trustworthiness.
with these in mind, let look at what are they expectations of people, seed royal of us:

1. change agent: we are the light of the world we should be the change we desire to see.
2. intercessor: we should pray for one another and the people we seek to lead
3. stand out to be different; set standards
4. a bridge between the older and younger generation of leaders
5 leaders where ever we go


our own expectation from seed royal includes
1. to be trained to be a leader
2. to be a resource center
3. to make us a better person
4. to be closer to the lord
5. acquire and develop skills to praise God

what Nigeria expects from us as seed royal

1.People of integrity
2. Ideas that can change the country
3. Teamwork
4. Good citizen
5. To be a law abiding citizen
6. Good managers of it's resources
7. Fulfilling all civic responsibility
8. Creativity

Negative expectations
Negative expectation is when people continue to fail you. you'll develop negative expectations. the evil in negative expectations is that we adjust ourselves to it. your attitude to a negative expectation can become bad when you adjust yourself to it. but you don't need negatives expectations as the person you right of today can become the chief corner stone tomorrow. people can change for good . Praise God.
